It was her own transformation journey from burn out to conscious wellness that inspired her to found Anoume in 2012. It's since become a global change management consulting, coaching & energy healing business.

After graduating with a degree in computer science Depika started her career as a java developer then moved into management consulting before setting up her own business a decade later. She always had a natural ability to sense what people needed/wanted but wasn’t until Depika burnt out in 2009 that she rediscovered her intuitive gifts & energy healing abilities.

Depika’s approach is grounded, practical and full of enlightening wisdom that shifts mindsets, stagnated energy & emotions. In turn, her clients experience an expansion in conscious awareness and a deeper connection with their own innate wisdom and intuition. Resulting in more love, abundance, clarity, freedom, creativity, peace and a whole new perspective to a world of possibilities.

  • Setting Boundaries, Finding Peace by Nedra Glover Tawwab has lots of tips and tricks for setting boundaries and the power of No. Her website includes free resources and worksheets and a free boundaries setting quiz and worksheet.

  • Building off of Depika’s earlier comments on burnout, we’re linking the Mayo Clinic’s coverage on job burnout, which includes a list of questions to ask yourself that can help you determine if you’re experiencing burnout. We also really connected with a piece by Maris Kreizman titled “Where Did My Ambition Go?” that covers the thorny definition of ambition and how it relates to burnout - and how easily you can slip into an unbalanced life in pursuit of your ambitions. We often talk about professional ambitions but other kinds of ambitions - for your personal life, your community, your mental health, your friendships - they’re just as important and just as valid.

  • Here is an article from ScienceDaily about how fear of failure from a young age can affect our long-term attitude towards learning. Additionally, this article from Harvard Business Review has four strategies to overcome your fear of failure, including creating a “fear list” that shows things you’re afraid to do and what you’re afraid will happen if you do that. If you want to share your fear lists we’d love to see them on social or over email - sharing fears can help them feel more manageable too.
